Purpledog Rhythms (PdR) is a not-for-profit association of individuals who share a passion for drumming, percussion and the joy of music. With an enthusiasm for African rhythms, the group draws on its collective skills and resources to form a troupe of dedicated players of tribal beats.

The BiPolar Bears are Melbourne's best-known advocates for the combination of music and mental health. With a repertoire of original songs and covers, the BiPolar Bears have performed regularly since the band formed in 1991 at a wide range of events including conferences, launches, festivals, drama performances, parties and mental health events.
